Description

'A soul-shattering novel that will leave your emotions raw. This story will haunt me forever. Everyone should read it' Guardian

In a small town where everyone knows everyone, Emma O'Donovan is different. She is the special one - beautiful, popular, powerful. And she works hard to keep it that way.

Until that night . . .

Now, she's an embarrassment. Now, she's just a slut. Now, she is nothing.

And those pictures - those pictures that everyone has seen - mean she can never forget.

For fans of Caitlin Moran, Marian Keyes and Jodi Picoult.

BOOK OF THE YEAR AT THE IRISH BOOK AWARDS 2015. The award-winning, bestselling novel about the life-shattering impact of sexual assault, rape and how victims are treated.

Could not put the book down, powerful and current writing. Thank you for writing about such a taboo subject that really needs to be spoken about! Well done and looking forward to the next book!

Very good book with an amazing storyline but a very anti climatic ending!

Brilliant book! Bought yesterday and couldn't put it down. Worth the read. Ending unexpected could have been better. But otherwise brilliant

I would highly recommend this book it's so well written & is compulsive reading. I only downloaded it 24 hours ago & I'm finished already! I felt so many emotions in this book & I think every young woman/ teenager should be made read this……its a story we have all heard & unfortunately can expect to see (& hear) many more times. All young people should be made more aware of consent & how alcohol/ drugs can influence this. Well done Louise great read!

I didn't enjoy this story at all. Not like the reviews said. Wouldn't be a best seller in my opinion.

I got hooked from the begining and didn't want to put it down, which is always good. Will admit I was somewhat disappointed with the ending but that's just me, always wanting the protagonist to come out on top 😀
